Anirudha Srikkanth is a former professional cricketer from India following in the footsteps of his father Kris Srikkanth. Born in Madras, he debuted in first-class cricket at the young age of 16 during the 2003–04 season.
Though his early career in the Tamil Nadu Ranji Trophy squad had its ups and downs, Anirudha found his niche in limited-overs cricket, topping the run charts for India’s under-19 team against England under-19s in 2004-05. In Twenty20 cricket, he was the third-highest run-scorer in the inter-state T20 tournament in 2007.
He has also played in the Indian Premier League, representing the Chennai Super Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad and is known for his attacking batting style, much like his father.
