Actor and model Samyuktha Shanmuganathan (Shan) and former cricketer Anirudha Srikkanth have officially tied knot. The wedding took place in Chennai on Thursday.
Samyuktha looked radiant in a gold-colored saree paired with temple jewelry. Anirudha complemented her in a gold-shaded shirt and dhoti.

The celebrations were intimate focusing on family moments. Photos and videos from the wedding have gone viral on social media.

Samyuktha and Anirudha shared some of these moments online, captioning them, “27.11.2025 ❤️” and including a sweet video featuring family, friends and Samyuktha’s son.

The romance between Samyuktha and Anirudha first caught public attention during Diwali when they shared a photo together. That post ended all speculation about their relationship. But it sparked curiosity about whether an engagement or wedding was imminent.
Before the wedding announcement, Samyuktha addressed the rumors in her usual candid style, saying, “Everything is on the internet. Whatever is there, is there.”
This marriage marks a fresh chapter for both Samyuktha and Anirudha who have previously experienced relationships that ended in divorce.
Anirudha Srikkanth, son of former Indian cricketer Krishnamachari Srikkanth, was earlier married to model Arti Venkatesh. Their marriage lasted two years ending between 2012 and 2014.
Samyuktha Shanmuganathan had been married to tech entrepreneur Karthik Shankar. Their relationship ended in early 2025. In past interviews, she described the heartbreak she experienced. She revealed that the marriage concluded after she discovered her husband’s affair leaving her feeling “like my entire life was a lie.”
Samyuktha is a popular actress and model who rose to fame with Bigg Boss Tamil Season 4. Before television, she had already made mark in the fashion world.
Anirudha Srikkanth is a former professional cricketer from India following in the footsteps of his father Kris Srikkanth. Born in Madras, he debuted in first-class cricket at the young age of 16 during the 2003–04 season.
Though his early career in the Tamil Nadu Ranji Trophy squad had its ups and downs, Anirudha found his niche in limited-overs cricket, topping the run charts for India’s under-19 team against England under-19s in 2004-05. In Twenty20 cricket, he was the third-highest run-scorer in the inter-state T20 tournament in 2007.
He has also played in the Indian Premier League, representing the Chennai Super Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad and is known for his attacking batting style, much like his father.
